Why I am interested in AGI

A short reflection on useful intelligence, reliability, human needs, and why AGI works as the long-term North Star.

I am interested in AGI because it sits at the intersection of the technical and the human problems I keep returning to: how systems reason, how they stay reliable, how they help people make better decisions, and how product judgment turns raw capability into something useful. For me, the North Star is not just building more powerful models; it is learning how to shape intelligent systems so they are grounded, understandable, and aligned with real work.
